First up this hockey off-season is the impending UFA signings beginning July 1st...here's the latest:
Daniel Briere - is being courted by a number of teams. Edmonton, Philly, Montreal and Phoenix are rumored to be prime to begin discussions with the talented center. Buffalo can't keep both Briere and Drury and it looks as though they are lowering their sight on Drury, and keeping their core young guys together (Pominville, Vanek, Campbell, Connolly). Briere's a great young talent. He had just an ok playoffs and that's likely the main reason why the Sabres are likely to choose Drury over Briere.
